UBUNTU
The wellbeing and prosperity of one … is
the wellbeing and prosperity of all
UBUNTU is a very nice concept that originated from the African culture … An Anthropologist proposed a game to the tribal children. He placed a basket of fruits near a tree and made the children stand a hundred meters away, then announced that whoever reaches the basket first would get all the fruits.
When he said “Go!”… All the children held each others’ hands, ran together towards the tree, divided the fruits equally among themselves, ate the fruits, and enjoyed it.
When asked why they did so, they said “Ubuntu”.
Which meant – ‘How can one prosper when the others are not?!’
A strong message for our society nowadays … Let all of us have the Ubuntu attitude.
